Hello guys and gals! This week I taught my third class in intermediate English I. I arrived so early to the classroom as always in order to organize everything. I wrote the date, the objective and the agenda on the board. I arranged the desk in a semi circle. I started the class on time. I greeted the students. I designed a warm up out side the classroom. I asked the students to count from 1 to 2, and I created two teams the team number 1 and the team number 2. I gave to each team letters and these were a scramble word. I gave them some minutes to unscramble the word; one word was "comparatives" and the other one was "superlatives". I developed the presentation of the topic out side the classroom as well. I stuck some pages of paper with a picture of a special and interesting people. we did a tour through the hall reading the information about these people. The information was about the youngest people that did something special in their lives. After that I asked students for comprehension questions. I came back the classroom and I explained the grammar notes. The topic was "superlatives and comparatives" I gave them the concepts of each group of adjectives and I gave them a chart with rules and exceptions. At the end I draw pictures and write some examples on the board in order students could understand in a better way the grammar. After that, I gave them a work sheet with some sentences. They must to rewrite the sentences fixing the mistake in each one, and It was time to finish the class. I thanked my students for their attention and participation and I said "good bye, see you next Wednesday" In my opinion it was a nice class because we developed two activities out side the classroom and this helped me to get students' attention.
